Founder and Principal
Brett Peruzzi is the founder and principal of Peruzzi Communications.
With over thirty years of experience in the communications field, Brett Peruzzi has been a technical and marketing writer, editor, trainer, web site developer, content management system administrator, and software documentation manager. He also teaches at both the continuing education and university level, and has published several articles about the technical communication profession and presented at many Society for Technical Communication regional conferences. With a long history in software development organizations, he's also had stints as both a software QA manager and a software product manager.
His academic credentials include a bachelor's degree in English, a master's degree in technical and professional writing, and a certificate in project management.
Before starting Peruzzi Communications, in addition to a career working for various Fortune 500 companies, Brett also worked as a consultant doing technical and marketing writing and editing for smaller technology companies and other businesses.
Brett has also donated his services as a communications professional to various non-profit organizations in his community, in web site development and maintenance, marketing, social media, and publicity. His efforts in this regard have helped raise over $1 million for various causes. And as a widely-published freelance journalist and former consumer/industry newspaper editor, he knows the type of content editors want to publish and how to produce it.
